The Garibaldi DaVinci Institute, located in Italy, is a secondary high school operating as a public institution with autonomous administrative, didactic, and organizational functions. Both the "Agriculture, Agri-food, Agro-industry" and "Construction, Environment, and Territory" departments actively participate in this project. Since 2016, the institute has nurtured internationalization through the establishment of the International Mobility Commission, facilitating student training and work placements in European and non-European countries. This commission promotes various activities, including Erasmus Plus and European projects on sustainable development, exchange initiatives, E-twinning, job shadowing, and study programs abroad. Our diverse student body, aged 14 to 19, reflects a broad variety of backgrounds, from middle-class families to those in disadvantaged situations, including children of immigrants, and students from countries such as Romania, Albania, and Morocco. The institute actively supports students with special educational needs and disabilities, fostering an inclusive environment that promotes educational success, integration, and active citizenship. To ensure effective integration, the institute has implemented targeted didactic and educational interventions. An inclusive plan, developed collaboratively with families, organizations, and institutions, encompasses various activities aimed at overcoming educational challenges, promoting integration, and nurturing active citizenship. At the Garibaldi DaVinci Institute, we proudly uphold our commitment to education, international collaboration, holistic student development, diversity, and inclusion.
