Are you a teacher looking for innovative teaching materials? Check out our teachers' toolkit
We’re excited to announce that all course videos are now published and accessible on this page! Dive into topics like sustainability pathways, ecological footprints, and gamification in education, all designed to enrich your teaching toolkit. Each video is equipped with subtitles in English, Spanish, Italian, Serbian, and Slovenian. Just click below to begin exploring!
The slide decks used for the videos are also available as a Teachers' toolkit. This material is designed to help you to learn about sustainability and food systems, and to bring this content into the classroom.
We’re thrilled to share that The Food Odyssey Digital Escape Room is now live and ready to play! Available in English, Italian, Serbian, Slovenian, and Spanish, the game invites you to tackle challenges, solve puzzles, and explore the connections between food systems and climate change. Over 300 students have already tested their skills during the pilot phase. Now it’s your turn! Grab a pen and paper (or open a text document) and see if you can crack it.
If you are having any doubts about how to use it in your classroom, worry not! We have also prepared a document with instructions and solutions.
On the other hand, if you are having doubts about the contents of the digital escape room, you should have a look at our Students’ Toolkit.
It includes:
Four short and student-friendly slide-deck presentations (with video links) on key topics: food waste, plate waste, biodiversity and food systems, and resource allocation.
A facilitation guide with interactive methods and tools.
Two ready-to-use classroom activities designed to boost participation and systems thinking.
There are still some more results to come...
And we will publish them here as soon as they are ready for the public
Well... all the tangible, that is, easily shareable results!
In the meantime...
In the meantime... would you like to play with us?
Yes, you read it right. We have a hidden page in our website.
In it, you will find some great stories shared by the amazing team working in The Food Odyssey project. The stories are about food expressions and personal experiences that showcase how we can learn from each other (and how sometimes different places have funny stories about food!).

On our voyage towards sustainability,
The complexity can feel puzzling.
Yet, with an instrument built with ingenuity,
We are better equipped to keep going.
Fighting climate change requires continuity,
Embracing education and always innovating.
From farm to fork, we seek more quality,
For better and healthier choices, worth pursuing.
What instrument am I?
